First beavers born in Scotland following re-introduction.

Apparently there is a Mystery Beaver living somewhere on the Thames, but the articles never say where.

The Eyjafjallajökull webcam page has been augmented with links to webcams at Geysir and the Blue Lagoon (I do love the concept of creating a spa from powerplant effluvium).

We were watching sea otters on TV last night. I think that a baby sea otter must be the only thing in the world that is cuter than an adult sea otter :-)

(They are meant to have beavers at Slimbridge, but I've never seen one there in real life, think it's all a hoax designed to pull the punters in, muttermuttermutter)
