I'm enjoying it a lot so far - it has a great narrative voice - although I'm worried that Mary Innes is going to be the murder victim (I don't want her nice parents to suffer, even if I can't quite believe that they are so nice as to make the rest of the world sick with jealousy that they are not also English).
