I read a review of one in the Guardian years and years ago that sounded really interesting, but actually reading it never happened. I didn't like the non-SF novel if his that I tried, but really I should bite the bullet and read that one that caught my eye. Though hopefully it isn't one containing grotesque moments, because I am a lightweight at such things.
