Better late than never
Finally backed up my LJ, having seen rumours that LJ may go down depending on what happens with the Russian internet, and though I have no idea whatsoever of the veracity of said rumours, I didn't want to take the chance. I ought to have done it long ago, of course, but better later than never.
I used BlogBooker, and paid. It worked very easily* and I now have an absolutely enormous PDF of every entry I ever made, plus comments. Of course, the next thing I need to do is back up my computer properly...
*That is the BlogBooker part worked very easily. First I had to change my LJ password, which had been done for me for 'security reasons' (i.e. IIRC they were hacked. Again) in May 2020 and for obvious reasons I didn't have the reason to sort it out. But I have done it this evening.
