Graeme Swann, batting at 10, is now England's highest scorer. Once again, unforgivable collapse by the rest of them with the possible exception of Strauss.

Wimsey, thou shouldst be grateful thou art not living at this hour.

*sobs*

Even if Anderson and Swann did salvage something from the wreckage....

Not least because you'd be 119. Which is more than any England batsman dreams of getting.

Salvaged quite a lot really, but I can't imagine Bell will get many more chances.

Well, I think any time you get 50 out of Collingwood, you're ahead of the game.

But Bell... god, there really are no words are there? And if someone can give me one (one!) legitimate reason why Cook is at 2, I'll eat my new winter boots.

Though I would have loved to see Broad's supposed tanty (not that it was unwarranted, by the sounds of it). And I did read somewhere that Swann was the third-highest scorer for England during the Ashes, so maybe it isn't quite so surprising. *shrugs* (the Ashes seems like ages ago, doesn't it? or is that just me?)

I think I'm glad we had the Australian cricket on last night, now.
