Can anyone recommend a hotel/B&B in Venice ([livejournal.com profile] bookwormsarah yours looked lovely, but is full)?

When I arrived at the Venice train station after a night trip from Vienna, in 2001, there were people showing pics and promoting various B&B's. I had a one bedroom with BR for 40 euros a night, a short distance from the canal. Not sure that I can find the name of the place, but it was great. I'm sure you will have a great time. Wish I was there.

The organisation is proving a little less than peaceful, but I'm really looking forward to going.

Btw I took a sleeper from Vienna to Venice- saved wasting daylight and £ on a room. Tell me more about your trip?
