Before that film, I was not sure I could ever dislike Toby Stephens in a role. And Helena Bonham Carter rarely does anything for me, but I found her especially grating. (Although I don't think Olivia has to be quite so self-absorbed and drippy--I heard Lindsay Duncan in a recording, and she managed to hit the right mix of vanity and aristocratic snark, I thought.)

I'm still trying to figure out what was wrong with Trevor Nunn's Twelfth Night. They somehow managed to make what is arguably Shakespeare's most charming play...not fun, at all. I do remember Feste working rather well, though.
