Less anticipated perils of nudism: Naked German women found in woods

Less amusingly, exploitation of berry pickers.

Apparently Morrisons sells jars of biberries from Poland (where they are presumably picked by Poles), and any potential radioactivity doesn't present a health hazard. Alas, I don't have a local Morrisons. I shall have to go to Ilkley Moor when in the north later this month.

It did occur to me that if Sherlock had to do a "Mysterious East" episode cockle- (and by extension, berry-)pickers being exploited by gangs in both continents might have been more topical and interesting than the tepid narcotics-and-jade brew we got.

A lot more interesting, not least because being a gang-exploited smuggler in what we got appeared to be a quick way out of poverty and into the high life.

Maybe it just illustrates that I am uptight Brit, but hiking naked through N European forests has me thinking 'O HAI, midges, mosquitoes and other bitey insects', and that it is probably not good for oneself or the environment to spray head to foot with deterrents.
