The story does raise the question, though, of why Olympias didn't look after Draco instead of Bellatrix and Rodolphus, or even with Bellatrix and Rodolphus. Was it because she was unmarried? Or had something happened to her? Obviously the real reason is that I had not then invented her… Justifying in retrospect, she is ten years older than Narcissa and has lived in Vienna with a family of her own for years, whereas Bellatrix lives around the corner and was available on November the first to take over whilst the "dazed and confused" Malfoys sorted out their Imperius story.
I hadn't made the connection with Madame Maxine. It's not ideal... But glad you enjoyed it.
