Came to comment on the excellence of the fic, but got sidetracked by the comments. This is a really wonderful explanation for how-and-why-fiction-works, which I haven't seen before. Is there any way you could post a link to the post that started this train of thought?
I had never thought of Sayers rubbing P&H's togetherness in Ms.T's face before - I did wonder if it was the done thing for her drop by with eggs in the evening (I have no knowledge of English social customs beyond what I've culled from Heyer and the like) - but P&H *are* on their honeymoon - best time to go goo-ey surely?
