People with writing-minded children aged 7-14 might be interested in the Dodo Writing Competition run by my employer. The prizes are not substantial, but fame is everlasting.
Do you know if the contest is only open to residents of the UK? I checked the page and couldn't locate any legalese - I ask as my daughter may be interested, but we are in the US.
To be quite honest, I suspect that they haven't actually considered that (nor indeed the implications of contestants from outside Oxfordshire!), but it is a very good point. I shall enquire.
