Were you still up for Hussey?

An excellent Christmas, during which my sisters have vastly over-catered (a better error for first-timers than the other way round), we have had some very good presents, enjoyable games, and a surprisingly enjoyable drive to Scotland along an almost empty M6 and utterly beautiful A702 (well, the hills around it were beautiful. The road was merely properly cleared).

My sister has Sky Sports, so I have been also enjoying the rare pleasure of watching the Ashes live, albeit only for an hour and a half because then I start falling asleep. Today it is other sister's honorary 30th birthday, so we have the morning off before afternoon tea and the theatre later in the day. Unfortuantely it is pouring with rain, so the projected walk up Arthur's Seat is cancelled.

Finally, I weakened yesterday morning whilst everyone else was still in bed and ended up writing a fic for Yuletide Madness 2010.
