Apr. 9th, 2012 07:45 pmWhat joy it is to drive down the M1 in torrential rain! Oh happy day, as the cars plough at 40mph through standing water. But I am home, and no horses were harmed in the achievement.
In happier news, in the past fortnight my youngest sister introduced me to Cabin Pressure, and my parents introduced me to 2012 (the sitcom). And thanks to Nigel Slater (it so often is) I have finally discovered a form in which I actually like anchovies. I also saw The Duchess of Malfi, but a review of that will follow when my brain is functioning.
Back to the office tomorrow. I cannot say how much I am looking forward to unpacking my stuff after the move...
