Not convinced by this copywriting

Advert seen on some website or other (news?) for Eurowings, formerly Germanwings:

Kiss Goodbye
Let's hit the sky!

Given the reasons that Germanwings no longer trades under that name, this did not strike me as entirely reassuring to the potential customer.

No, not good!

(I don't particularly blame Lufthansa/ Germanwings for what happened as I don't see how they could reasonably have prevented it, but still not really what you want to remind people of....)

My mind just went straight there!

I think it's one of those things where with hindsight you can see what ought perhaps to have been done differently, but that no-one is reasonably going to be thinking of preventing before it happens.

Yes, I agree with that. Though IIRC, there was a particular issue in that German law strictly forbids the sharing of medical information with a person's employer, which is in general a very good policy, but....

I'm not sure how they come up with the idea of such an ad... like, shouldn't it register in their minds that this might have some unwanted connotations?
