When I was growing up, we had an awfully worthy (and not entirely bad) board game from the RSPB called CONSERVATION (I like to think that it was actually called CONSERVATION! but the RSPB was so unerringly middle-class, for the most part (we brought the side down dreadfully) it would never have tolerated the screamer.) We bored visitors with it for years. I can't remeber much of the rules, but I do recall red kites were a two star card (marsh harriers and ospreys rated a three star) and you got lots of extra points for them. It's amazing that they are back in such numbers as to be a nusiance.
