And I thought the one at the museum in Oxford was such a relatively inoffensive creature. Little did I know it harboured quite as many empire-building dreams as the cockroach...
Yes, an army of giant millipedes advancing on your town would definitely be a troubling sight.
I am taking a few days off work and didn't get round to leaving the house till 4pm yesterday, when it was getting dark anyway and there was no sign of dramatic black smoke plumes. I always miss the excitement - and am not really complaining about that! Not that the fires were exactly on my doorstep, but they weren't far away at all.
