I've never phrased it quite that succinctly or elegantly, but yes: a sentiment that has saved me from a number of daring frocks, handsome hats, and unhealthily yet alluringly high heels. (That, and limited funds and even more limited social energy: I have yet to wear the red floorlength gown I picked up at a vintage store two summers ago, because right now I'd rather floss the dog's teeth than sit through the speeches and smile through the small talk inherent in that kind of formal occasion...)
More important, congratulations on Now Having the Boots That Were Meant to Belong To You. Will we get to see a picture of you gloating over them being yours modeling them?
