I do not have green fingers in the sense of being good with plants, but I sure do in the sense of having green pastel smeared over my fingers. (For some reason the green and the dark red are the smudgiest.) I'm starting to use bits of the pastel other than the tip: the bottom edge makes lines, and if you turn it sideways it gives a nice scumbly effect that is excellent for walls in indoor scenes.
