If I have a table in Word, does anyone know how to insert into it those subsidiary little tables that make the person filling it in choose between options? It seems that my usual fall-back of Cut and Paste doesn't work. Or even what this function is called so that I can find it in the Help menu?

I probably should know, but I'm afraid I don't :-(

Tables are one of those things that just make me fling my hands in the air in defeat. Best of luck.

I can't remember how, but I think I came across it once by right-clicking on a cell somewhere...

Which version of Word?

If Word 2010, possibly:
http://www.addictivetips.com/microsoft-office/create-user-entry-forms-in-word-2010/

which helpfully includes the line: "Form controls are bundled under Developer tab, which is by default hidden."
