Sheepskin flip-flops. Yours for a mere £45 and your remaining sanity.

Maybe, possibly on emerging from a lake after a sauna, but only if you stood on a cold rock carefully drying your feet first, which rather defeats the object, and certainly not for £45.

Precisely. Because the only time I have seen the point of flip-flops is for walking through mud and over rocks into a lake and those would be pretty revolting after you'd done that about twice.

Your holidays are in a clearly in a different league to mine.

Geoguessr just put me *inside* the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. I quite want to go there now I know what it was I was trapped inside.

I must be getting old. I think they look rather comfortable.

But if it was warm enough for flip-flops, sheepskin ones would be hot, and it your feet were wet they would get disgusting!

I do have deeply unfashionable sheepskin slippers, though.

Sheepskin slippers are wonderful. Flip flops? Can't see the point, either.

Yeah, I love my sheepskin slippers and wear them all year round. The flip-flops make no sense whatsoever--although they still make more sense than these (http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/img-thing?.out=jpg&size=l&tid=26178801).

Sheepskin slippers are marvellous. When it's very hot in the summer I never quite know what to do with my feet.

Bogan winter wear, as an alternative to moccasins?

They wouldn't do much against frostbite! ("Bogan" is my new word for the day.)

I rather liked the idea; the price tag, not so much! I've bought boots and slippers from Celtic and both are very comfortable; I thought sheepskin flip-flops might be nice for people who love flip-flops and live in places like Antarctica Britain where it is never really hot enough for flip-flops.

I admit that I don't like flip-flops at all, so may be prejudiced. Slippers on the other hand, yes - I've never had any Celtic sheepskins ones, but having tried on my Mum's I'll be getting some when my current pair give up the ghost.

I've seen worse. There are a couple of Texas department stores that sell extraordinarily expensive, extraordinarily useless Christmas gifts for couples. One I particularly remember was an old fashioned clawfoot bathtub that would be filled with diamonds (industrial grade, but *still*) so the purchaser's lady friend could "take a bath" in diamonds.

I laughed SO HARD.....
