Oh dear, that is distressingly plausible! Poor Martin, he really would be afraid of hypothetical vampires*. Arthur, OTOH, would probably handle real vampires with aplomb: "I know that people say they're evil, but there's good in everyone really, and I expect they're brilliant when you get to know them."
