Seen on my way to the supermarket, a car of indeterminate type beyond 'expensive', in dark blue with cream roof and bonnet, with the number plate 'A1 SPY'.

I keep reading the '1' as an 'i' and assuming the number plate should be pronounced as if someone were imitating the late Queen Mother playing a guessing game.
