Men at work

It has been a long wait for the roofers (booked in December for today), but they are here. The inevitable banging and occasional roar of an enormous blowtorch is not entirely conducive to concentration, but I'm have a surprisingly productive day despite an early start. I also realised belatedly that I forgot to warn the neighbours - but since they never warned me, not too guiltily. I needn't worry madly now,

I am mostly glad I'm not the man on the ridgeline in the wind. When black-clad assasins retire from the jianghu, do they become roofers?
