So now Jo Johnson's resigned, though somewhat vaguely and not actually from the Whip. Managed to dig out a grain of conscience somewhere in the back of his skull, perhaps.

I suppose it makes a change from being constantly interrupted by email or phone calls.

I found myself stalking Andrew Adonis on twitter last night to see what was happening in the Lords debate. Luckily I:m not at work today or tomorrow!

My colleagues and I appear to be informally taking it in turns to do a quick check and remark any important developments.

I am finding the evening difficult - 7 pm means choosing between the Channel 4 news, cricket highlights, or the Vuelta.

It is ridiculous. Every time I go out, when I come home something new has happened. We had our first Brexit food shortages here when I was so distracted following things on Tuesday night that - after making the dough and put it on to rise - I completely forgot to actually bake the bread.

I am glued to the news! I hope that you found Beexit bread substitute- I have actually bought yeast for emergency bread so I can avoid supermarkets full of angry people if necessary. I haven't made bread I 25 years

I know. I can feel this background level of stress now that Parliament is sitting again. Not to mention distraction.
