There is something a bit dispiriting about taking everything out of a space and realising that in fact the not very efficient way in which things are stored in it is nonetheless the most efficient way of storing said things in it. This saves me buying nifty boxes in Ikea tomorrow. It does not, however, move me towards a better way of storing my DVDs.
