Boots - for the last time

Thank you for all your comments on the boot poll. In the end I bought the buckled boots.

In the end, much as I adore the buttoned boots, I liked them more for their qualities as an artefact than wrapped around my legs.

Also, are you still planning to be at the Heyer Day on Saturday?

They really are utterly gorgeous. But not, ultimately, the boots I need.

Yes! Still at Heyer on Saturday. I'm really looking forward to it, though I haven't read the books I meant to in advance. You will spot me easily by the dark curly hair.

I haven't read them either. I'm hoping that having read them all at least 20 times over the years will be enough.
