Today:
- My mother had a letter published in the Guardian. Good work, Mum!
- I finally caught up with a piece of work today and was annoyed with myself when it turned out to be dead easy after I'd been putting it off for three weeks.
- I discovered that my shoe had a hole in the sole and got a very wet foot.
- My new raincoat had a baptism of rain and survived.
- Watched cross-country skiing on the internet, then watched some Alpine, and thought that if I can ski downhill tolerably XC, then I am really not going to be bottom of the class in Alpine. *I am better than those people on the internet!* OK, those people being people who post videos of themselves falling over on YouTube.
