How the TK Maxx website described this garment that I purchased recently:

Description: Green high neck hoodie
Colour: Green (obviously)

How the manufacturer (Naketano*) described this garment:

Description: Ralle Rizzo Pimped IV
Colour: LSD Trip Melange

Fortunately it is a cosy sweatshirt with a high collar, and no-one knows the name when you wear it.

I think that someone should tell them that naming your sweatshirts things like I Will Fuck Your Brain ceased to be cool and edgy around the time the Sex on the Beach cocktail hit the mass market.

They do get it right sometimes, though: the Jedi Path looks exactly what a Jedi would wear on a chilly planet. Luke probably has one stashed in a cupboard on Skellig Michael.

I really do like the Jedi Path, but not at that price, and I'm fairly sure I have a pattern for something similar in an old Burda magazine somewhere. Anyway, I do not tend to wear the hoodies I already have, because weather that is hoody weather is also weather that is tweed jacket weather.

I tried it on in TK Maxx (much nicer prices, though the website also has a sale section) and liked it a lot, though the collar was quite heavy. I didn't buy it on account of it being (a) brown, and (b) too small. I have been trying to smarten up my slouching around wardrobe a bit. Nice as a tweed jacket can be, I don't find it cosy on the sofa.
