What boots it to repeat?

A year on from this post, and I still don’t have any brown boots.

So it is time to seize the day by the scruff of its neck, and buy some boots.

So do I buy the boots I liked last year and still like with the buttons*, or the boots in really lovely burnished tan with buckles?

The buttoned boots are wonderful, and I would go with them. The others would be fine if the buttoned boots weren't available, but the buttons are gorgeous.

They are both lovely. I am in torment! (And in Cambridge the 7th for a Heyer day, and I think I'm staying on the Sat. night, in which case, meeting on the Sun. morning would be great.)
